Our Family

Casey and I have been married over 12 years! Casey still loves to cheer on his BYU Cougars and the Utah Jazz and I have time I love to squeeze in my Photography and running. These are some snap shots of our busy life with our 4 children. 2 girls and 2 boys!

Spoon full of Sugar

What to do with little boys who love to wrestle and fight with light sabers and swords of any kind? Have them spray the clover and weeds! (Of course you need close supervision or they would kill every living plant in the yard.) But they loved it and I was able to cook dinner in peace!

Beach retreat

Our ward has been having an annual women’s beach retreat for years now, and I’ve always thought it would be fun to go. But between having babies and schedules I’ve never been able to go. I was a beautiful weekend! We stopped in Astoria and saw the Goonies' house and some sea lions at the dock. For some reason the ocean was really muddy/sandy. We had a delicious dinner, played games, watched a movie, and walked on the beach. We came across a bald eagle and had a hungry raccoon in the yard. The next day we walked a little more then visited Long Beach.  We had some fish and chips for dinner and headed home.
Very fun!

For some reason they had a ton of shirts that said they love me?!

Easter Morning

The Easter bunny left the kids some candy bunny teeth. I’m thinking they look more like monster teeth though. They all also got a new spring shirt, and Casey made waffles for breakfast. I made the girls Easter dresses this year. I wanted something yellow and pink, and kind of a 50’s party dress look. With some help from my mom and the courage from my friend to sew without a pattern this is what I came up with! I was so nervous that the fabric looked too 80’s, but I love how they turned out! They put their tulle slips underneath, and I made some hair clips to go with. Brooklyn is a big fan of Taylor Swift, so I fixed their hair like she wore it to an award show. Brooklyn was loving it! After church we went over to my parents for a yummy dinner!

Easter Egg Hunt 2011

This is the second year my mom has had an Easter egg hunt for all the grandkids. They have fun finding all the eggs in their yard and all the “special” ones that have their name on them. This year Casey was at youth conference and we had two soccer games that morning then after that I had a photo-shoot! It was the most beautiful day of the year, but also a very exhausting one!

Fancy Day

All the kids wanted to participate in the school’s “Fancy Day”. Nathan put together all his church clothes for his outfit and showed off his modeling skills. Cody will not be left out and put on his church shirt and coordinating plaid shorts.
