Our Family

Casey and I have been married over 12 years! Casey still loves to cheer on his BYU Cougars and the Utah Jazz and I have time I love to squeeze in my Photography and running. These are some snap shots of our busy life with our 4 children. 2 girls and 2 boys!

I ♥ Mommy

What is a baby to do when his mom is on the computer tooooooo long?
Callie came over to see me and found Cody like this...

He was pretty pleased with himself. I cleaned him up in the sink and got the kitchen cleaned, then went to send one email. I promise it was just one. And found he had dumped the Comet all over the floor. (I do have a lock for under the sink, but it dosen't help if I don't lock it!!) No pictures of that, I wasn't so amused by then.

That night Casey and I were bathing the kids and Cody thought it looked like fun and climbed in jammies and all. The sad thing is both Casey and I were there and didn't catch him! The kids thought is was hilarious.

Cody's 1st Birthday

Photobucket

It's been 1 whole year! I can't believe it! I wish being pregnant went that fast! Cody celebrated his first birthday with his cousin Evelyn who is 7 hours older than him. The weather was nice so we had cake, pie and ice cream out on our new patio (I'll post about that later). Cody has been walking for about 2 weeks now. He is still very wobbly but is always carrying something while he walks (I guess he likes a challenge). He got a cute little ball from the kids for his birthday, they also gave one to Evelyn. He can palm it and loved walking around holding one in each hand.

Cody started to walk a couple weeks ago. So he got new shoes for his b-day.

It was also mother's day, so I ended up getting the first half of the day off, then I got busy making 2 strawberry rhubarb pies. They are totally worth is though, they are my favorite! For mother's day the kids and Casey brought me breakfast in bed. Olivia made a cute heart pin at preschool and drew me some beautiful pictures. Brooklyn made a cute paper plate craft at school. The kids and Casey gave me a sprayer for my plants and a little shovel. The kids were so excited for mother's day, they were busy all week preparing all their crafts. When the girls got home from school they both ran in the house and found special hiding places for their gifts and told me not to look there.

What's Not to Wear!

Around here everyday is dress up day! Especially if your sister is Olivia.
Last week when I got back from Enrichment Night I found this picture on my camera. It seems the girls and Casey had a little fun while I was gone! Then today, while fixing my hair, Olivia brought Cody to me looking like this. I think he would make a pretty cute girl, but I think we'll stick with the boy clothes.
Olivia enjoys getting her 2 1/2 year old cousin MaryLeigh dressed everyday also. Yesterday I went over to Callie's and saw what MaryLeigh was wearing and thought, "Wow she's starting to dress like Olivia." (which means a lot of pattern and alot of "bling"). Callie came in later and asked me if I liked what Olivia had dressed MaryLeigh in. Of course Olivia had dressed her!
That same day after watching "Nacho Libre" Porter showed up at my house in this outfit.
And later the girls, dressed in princess dresses, tried to camouflage themselves on a chair of bears.

Hair today, gone tomarrow

Cody with all his hair, in June.

Cody with much, much less hair in August!

On Saturday August 16th Cody got his 1st haircut. When he was born he had so much hair! He looked like Captain Kangaroo with his sideburns! But now that he is 3 months old, he has the bald spot all the way around his head and his hair has thinned out... so it looked pretty shaggy. So, since we live next door to a cosmetologist, my sister Callie, he was able to get a professional haircut. As you can see, he took it very seriously!
