This is who we found trying to sneak across our driveway one morning. He wanted my flowers! This is the biggest slug we've seen at our house. I went to go get a shovel to get rid of it and Olivia had already gotten a plastic bag and picked it up and tossed it in the grass. I thought about putting salt on it but wondered if that was something we just did as kids for fun and to torture slugs. So I scooped it up and threw it in the street. That was probably just as bad, but at least I didn't have to watch it die.

Gross! That is a huge slug...I am reminded of the slug story my dad tells around the campfire!
That's a pretty cool looking slug. We have alot of snails here but no slugs.
Watching the slug foam after putting salt on it is the best thing! I have no heart for slimy little creatures that live in my grass!
I always enjoyed strategically placing a firecracker under slugs when I was little. The trick is to be quick...or else slug guts all over you!
