New Years

On New Year's eve we invited my parents over for a yummy seafood and fondue dinner. My parents brought the lobster, prawns, and crab legs and I made a cheese fondue with yummy breads. My dad is on this checkers kick and he and my mom played checkers with Brooklyn. Brooklyn also had this idea of putting confetti in balloons and popping them at midnight.
On new years day we took all our r.c. cars to the church gym and raced them and played a little soccer and basketball with the kids. (They needed the exercise after being couped up in the house all break!)


Cody decided to show us his acting skills. He climbed up on the counter and crossed his legs and folded his arms and stuck out his lip. Then looked up and laughed at himself. It was so funny! Of course when the other kids saw how amused we were by it they had to do it too!
