Brooklyn is getting baptised this week. Tuesday was a beautiful day, dry and clear, and in the high 50's. So right when Brooklyn got home I fixed her hair up, slipped her white dress on and we took off for a quick photo shoot. You don't mess around with a nice day in February in the NW!
Brooklyn is so sweet. You can see it in her pictures!(I am a LITTLE bias.) She did so great. The quickest little shoot I've done. They were all so good. I think the dress I made her turned out pretty cute too. I tried a new bubble dress pattern and added the ruffles in front and the rose on the side.
She has been preparing for her baptism for a while now. Her G.May gave her some cards with the A of F and she has already memorized about 5 of them. One day I jokingly told her that her baptism is coming up so if she was going to do something stinkin' she better hurry now. She then very seriously told me that even if she doesn't have the Holy Ghost yet she should always do what is right. I was put in my place! She is so sensitive to the spirit and is such a wonderful example to her younger brothers and sister. I am a lucky mom to have Brooklyn for a daughter.
The big day is tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to keep it together!

She looks beautiful just like her Mom! Luke and Alyson get baptized on March 6th. I can't believe how time flies.
That Brooklyn is such a knockout! I love the dress it is amazing....I was looking at her party post and I just have to say you are so crafty and talented. We should be neighbors so you can teach me some stuff.
