So after our visit with the Baldwin’s Casey flew home to get back to work. Then I drove up to Heidi and Ryan’s to spent the week with them. We get to see Heidi in June back at home, but the kids (and me!) love to visit at her house. We got there on Monday morning and went to her splash park. It was so humid! It started to storm a little so it cut our park visit short.
The boys decided they were done and started changing their clothes themselves. I looked around and found them like this.
That night Olivia didn’t want dinner and fell asleep on the couch. I was feeling a little queasy and that night we were both throwing up! There was a stomach thing going around all the Baldwin’s and it had already gotten about 6 of them. Now us. I did feel a lot better by morning so we went to the mall to visit the Quilted Bear and Down East basics. Olivia and I were still a little week so that is all we did on Tuesday. By Wednesday we felt back to normal so we took the train down to Gateway mall to visit the fountain. Our little streakers got caught this time. I tried to cover Nathan between the stroller and a towel to change him, but Cohen just dropped his pants and started changing. A security guard came up and told Heidi that she needed to use the bathrooms to change the kids because there were some “questionable homeless people.” I guess they are too used to changing at grandma’s pool. The kids were a little out of control on the train ride home, and some guy behind Heidi got up and left saying “I’ve had about enough of THAT noise!” Rude! He could have just left, I wanted to. (Just kidding!)
Check out Olivia’s new smile. While at the Baldwin’s both of her top front teeth were SO loose! She was complaining all week that she couldn’t eat anything! On Sunday morning I had to pin her down an yank them out!
On Thursday we went to the Roy aquatics park, a family favorite. The kids had a blast! Both the boys loved the waterslides! They weren’t big enough to go themselves so I had to go with them. Maybe next year Nathan will be big enough and then we can go even more. Both the girls tried out the speed slide. I didn’t think they would really do it, but they did! By themselves! They both said it was scary, but so fun. Brooklyn helped Olivia be brave enough to try. Then they both tried the high dive. They loved that to, they went on the low one. Olivia thought that wasn’t too bad so she wanted to try the high one. She climbed the ladder twice but couldn’t do it. I know exactly how she felt! It looks like so much fun, but it is SOOO high!
After that the girls (Me, Heidi, Brooklyn, Olivia, and True) went to Ti Pan for some shopping and then got some yummy Hawaiian Shaved Ice. It was so fun. The girls are getting really easy and even fun to hang out with. On Friday we had a nice breakfast with Heidi then headed up to Boise to pick up my mom. We stayed at my grandma Manship’s house and had dinner and visited with my Uncle Brian. On Saturday morning we headed back to Washington. It’s always good to go home, but a little sad to see our vacation that we anticipated all year end.
