Boys will be boys I guess. We I have been spending a lot of time in the ER and Urgent care lately.
Last month Nathan fell off the monkey bars and sprained his ankle. The Urgent care thought it was fractured somewhere and gave him huge boot and crutches, but it turned out it wasn’t.
Then a couple weeks later Cody fell off the patio chairs and hit his head really hard. Huge goose egg. He didn’t have a nap that day and was very sleepy and wouldn’t stay awake after that. So I took him to the ER. They did a cat scan and he was fine.
Then last week on a Sunday morning Cody slipped while in my shower and caught his chin on the bench in the shower. It split open. It was so gross! Brooklyn ran at the sight of blood, but Olivia was the best nurse! She held the towel on Cody while I went and got some band-aides. Casey was at some meeting at church and silenced me on his cell phone. So I loaded up the kids and drove to the church and left them with Casey. I decided to just take him the Urgent Care. It took 2 nursed and me to hold him down while he was wrapped up in a sheet, so that the doctor could give him 4 stitches. We were all sweating by the time she was done! They gave him an otter pop and as I came out to the waiting room some one said to me “Is he who we heard back there?” Yes that was Cody. He is so loud!
The girls have never had an emergency. The boys are now tied. 2 to 2.

I had to check out your blog since you said you'd been busy updating. You guys have had a busy summer! So many hikes, I had no idea. Are you ever scared that your kids are going to run off the cliff? That is what I am afraid, hence the reason I haven't gone with Bay. I'm not much of a hiker but I do LOVE Multnomah Falls.
All of your pictures look so beautiful. I especially loved the ones of the first day of school. Your kids all look so cute... I can't beleive three of them are already in school!
That's funny that it's your boys because in our house the only one that has had to go to the ER is Shaylee! She had stitches in her head when she was three.
sounds like they take after Casey.
