The kids didn’t have school on Friday so I wanted to do something fun with them. Casey still had to work so I was a little hesitant to do something to involved. But I was talking with my friend who also wanted to do something, we decided to go to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island. Ashley and Katie also came! It was so cloudy and wet looking that morning so I was worried that it would rain and be a mess, but by the time we got there it was sunny and HOT! We ate lunch there and took the cow train ride. The kids got to see some animals. To quote Cody “Look Mom, bunny rabbit.Look Mom, bunny rabbit! Look Mom, bunny rabbit!!” He can be SO loud when he thinks I’m not listening! I talked Kendall into going in the corn maze. They said you could do the short version so we wouldn’t have to be in there for an hour. I thought no big deal, kids are contained, there is fencing along the path so they can’t go through the corn. Um, duh, they can run ahead and take turns to who knows where! So they took off I found a couple of them and luckily we all met back at the end! Little stressful, but I didn’t want to do the rest, and it is NOT worth the money if that is ALL you do…live and learn I guess. After that we let the kids climb the hay pyramids and then we all got some apple cider in the market. It was a very fun place, and I had fun being with friends! I think it could be a little easier though if I took Casey with me next time. 4 kids are hard to handle by yourself in a big open space like that!!! Lets just say I was wiped out for the rest of the day!

That was so much fun thanks for the invite!!!!! Sauvie Island is my new favorite place. I had so much fun I brought Logan back.
Seeing that barn made me think of our race there. Can we do it again?
